Veteran Owned
My name is Brian Hughes, I am a disabled Veteran, and I’m the owner of J&Z Financial Services. Since my service, I have, like many others, struggled to decide what’s next for me and my family. Adjusting to civilian life can be challenging, and so many of us miss the camaraderie we experienced while serving. In searching for the next chapter of my life, I’ve met some amazing people along the way, and I decided what better way to move forward than to give back. I started this business with just that in mind, to help and give back to other Veterans.
I served twelve years in the United States Air Force. The beginning of my career was spent serving as a firefighter, and the last eight years I was a C-130 Loadmaster. I had the opportunity to serve in Afghanistan and Iraq while defending this great country. During my time with the squadron, we were primarily in the desert. I received five Air Medals, an Aerial Achievement Medal, an AF Achievement Medal, a Combat Readiness Medal, along with several others from my many deployments overseas. I have a disability rating from my time spent in the service and want to thank all of those that have selflessly served.
I have always wanted to live the American Dream while being able to help those who helped all of us. The goal at J&Z is to educate and inform all Veterans of the benefits that we offer. We donate 1% of our profit to Wounded Warrior Project and DAV (Disabled American Veterans) to help those who need assistance.
My amazing family is behind me and helps to propel me forward. I met my wife at AAFES, where she was the manager of the gas station. We have two awesome children who are 9-years-old (Jax) and 4-years-old (Zoe). We reside in Fort Worth, Texas, and our main office is located in Dallas, TX.
I and my team are looking forward to serving you and your financial needs at J&Z. If you’re in the area, stop by and meet us in person.
Stay safe and take care,
Brian Hughes
